      Ed Breitbach, age 68, of Anamosa, passed away at his home on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021.

      Edward William Breitbach was born Aug. 5, 1952, in Cascade, Iowa, the son of Edward and Lauretta (Behrends) Breitbach. He attended the Aquin Schools and graduated from Aquin High School in the class of 1970. On June 25, 1977, he married Renee Finn at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Cascade.

Patsy Mae (Pat) Gray May 31, 1937 – Feb. 6, 2021

      Patsy Mae (Pat) Gray, 83, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday morning, Feb. 6, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Services will be held at a later date in Colebrook, N. H. Burial will be at Saint Brendan Cemetery in Colebrook. Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.

Robert Hasler March 15, 1944 – Feb. 1, 2021

      Robert Hasler, age 76, died Monday evening, Feb. 1, 2021 at his home following an extended battle with dementia.

      Hans Hoffman, age 60, died Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at Manor Care of Dubuque following a period of declining health.
His family granted his wish to be cremated. There will be a celebration of Hans's life at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family in his honor.       Doris Husmann, age 95, died peacefully, Friday evening, Feb. 5, 2021 at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. Funeral Services were held 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon Feb. 9, 2021 at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends called after 12 noon at the church. Rev. Denis Vincent Donovan Oct. 15, 1935 – Jan. 30, 2021

      Denis Vincent Donovan, 85, of Westfield, passed away Jan. 30, 2021.

      He was born in Monticello, Iowa to the late Vincent and Alice Donovan on Oct. 15, 1935. Denis was a 1953 graduate of Monticello High School and then went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. He spent his 35-year professional career as a meat inspector for the USDA. Denis enjoyed sports and was a fan of the Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes. He was known to be a card shark and was a skilled Euchre player. Denis cared deeply for animals. His favorite pastime of all was spending time with his family.
