• Roger Bernard Pink, 70, of Plattevile, Wisconsin, sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Jan. 21 at 5:47 p.m.

• Haylee Marie Bowser, 18, of Anamosa, was cited Jan.

• Grover J. Quinn, 33, of Oxford Junction, was arrested Jan. 8 on a charge of driving while barred.

Court documents state Quinn was seen by a sheriff’s deputy who knew Quinn’s driving status barred. The deputy pulled Quinn over, confirmed he was the driver, and arrested him, documents state.

 

• Austin Scott Leohr, 27, of Waterloo, pleaded guilty to a charge of violation of a no-contact order.

Leohr was sentenced to two days in jail and was ordered to pay court costs.

• A deer crossed U.S. 151 into the path of a motorist from La Crosse, Wisconsin last week.

A crash report states Michael F. Schiffer, 32, was driving in the northbound lanes of U.S. 151 at 7 a.m. Jan. 13 when he hit the animal.

Damage to Schiffer’s 2023 Ford Transit van was estimated at $10,000.

 

• A car vs. deer incident took place at 6:10 p.m. Jan. 11.

   • 9:40 a.m. -- Police responded to the 16000 block of North Gill Street for a motor vehicle crash with no injuries.

   • 10:23 p.m. -- Police responded to the 400 block of First Avenue East for a report of a theft.
