     Kyler Radford Brundage, Wyoming, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Aug. 3. He also pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree theft, 3rd degree sexual abuse, and lascivious acts with a child. A jury trial is set for Aug. 17.

     Dillon Lee Graf, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-impeding flow of air/blood. A jury trail is set for Aug. 17.

     Joshwa Marquette Tanner, Fort Dodge, pleaded not guilty to assault on persons in certain occupations. A jury trial is set for June 22.

     Bret Damon Wilbanks, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of registration and driving while license denied/suspended/cancelled/revoked. He was fined a total of $510 plus court costs.

     Martin Dale Gehring, Monticello, pleaded guilty to no seatbelt. He was fined $70 plus court costs.

     Samuel William August Miller, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of no valid driver’s license. He was fined $260 plus court costs.

     Logan William Bates, Walker, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was fined $105 plus court costs.

April 5

     7:44 a.m. – Police assisted a motorist in the 700 block of N. Cedar St.

     5:21 p.m. – Police received a traffic complaint from Highway 151 southbound near Campfire Rd.

     5:42 p.m. – Police assisted a motorist in the 200 block of S. Main St.

     8:34 p.m. – Police performed a traffic stop in the 21000 block of River Rd.

Sheriff's Report

     A semi vs. cow accident took place on April 2 at 5:39 a.m. on Highway 64. Eric Joseph Eganhouse, 62, of Wyoming was driving a 2014 Volvo Semi eastbound as he came up a hill. He saw two cows on the roadway and was unable to stop before striking one. Eganhouse was uninjured. Damage to the semi was estimated at $5,000.

     Brent Michael Wallenmeyer, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to 1st degree harassment. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs.

     Austin Wayne Linnabery, Toronto, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for July 27.

     Gage Joseph David Szakacs, Monticello, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended. He was fined $250 plus court costs.

     Cletus Roger Gerardy, Maquoketa, was found guilty of assault. He was fined $250 plus court costs.

     Dillon James Allen Abbott, Marion, was charged with public intoxication. A bench trial is set for April 21.

     11:41 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 800 block of N. Cedar St.

     2:06 p.m. – Police responded to a civil complaint in the 400 block of E. Third St.

Sheriff's Report

     A single-vehicle accident took place on March 25 at 11:57 a.m. on 130th Street in Anamosa. Charles William Heskett, 78, of Anamosa was driving a 2018 Jeep Compass west on 130th. He crossed over to the other side of the road before entering the ditch. Heskett’s vehicle traveled 50 feet before driving up on the bank, which caused it to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on its top. Heskett was transported by Anamosa Ambulance to Jones Regional Medical Center for his injuries. His vehicle sustained approximately $10,000 in damages.
