   James Seymour Gilbert, Central City, was charged with sex offender registration 1^st offense. An arraignment is set for Sept. 16.

   Derek William Duecker, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to inflict serious injury. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $855 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on supervised probation for two years. Duecker had charges of 1^st degree burglary and false imprisonment, both dismissed.

   7:48 a.m. – Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of E. Oak St.

Aug. 30

   2:38 a.m. – Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of N. Maple St.

   Damian Brummet, Olin, pleaded guilty to 1^st degree harassment. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He was fined $855 plus court costs. Brummet also pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily injury. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He was fined $430 plus court costs.

Aug. 26

   6:11 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a theft in the 600 block of S Main St. Robert Boothroyd was arrested for 5^th degree theft and public intoxication.

   9:20 a.m. – Police assisted another agency in the 400 block of E. Second St.
