•  Dustin Michael Gudenkauf, of Center Junction, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense. Gudenkauf was sentenced to seven days in jail and was fined $855 plus court costs. 

• Stephanie Lynn Martelli, 34, of Springville, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Sept. 12 at the intersection of South Williams Street and East Second Street in Anamosa on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, second offense, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash Sept. 16. 

A crash report states Becky Lyn Kirby-Creveling was driving on 120th Street at 1:45 p.m. when she reportedly lost control of her vehicle after swerving to avoid an animal. In doing to, Kirby-Creveling’s vehicle collided with a jeep parked legally on the roadside, the report states. The owner of the jeep was not disclosed in the crash report.

Sept. 8

     • 1:59 p.m. -- Police responded to the 300 block of West South Street for a report of a suspicious person or vehicle. 

     • 9:41 p.m. -- Police responded to the 700 block of West Washington Street for a report of vandalism or criminal mischief.

• A motorist was cited with failure to yield after a two-vehicle crash sent another motorist to the hospital. 

Eloise Marie Pike, of Monticello, sustained minor injuries in the incident and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.

• Sarah Beth McMurran, of Monticello, was adjudicated to be guilty to a charge of forgery. McMurran received a five-year suspended prison sentence and was placed on two years of supervised probation and was given credit for two years of probation. McMurran was fined $1,025 plus court costs. 

• John Randall Maher, of Mount Vernon, was arrested Sept. 3 on charges of driving while barred, possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for not wearing a seatbelt.

• Gary Lee Wabashaw, of Omaha, Neb., pleaded guilty to a charge of public intoxication. Wabashaw was fined $105 plus court costs. 

• Anthony Michael Parillo, of Anamosa, was arrested Aug. 13 on a charge of violation of a no-contact order. Court documents state Padillo was driving a car in Monticello with a person who is barred from contacting in the back seat. Both Padillo and the other party admitted to knowing about the no-contact order, documents state.

• A motorist from Zwingle struck an unoccupied car along U.S. 151 on Sept. 3. 

A crash report states Terrance Lee Ryan was driving south on U.S. 151 at 10:41 a.m. in foggy conditions when he struck a parked car. The crash report states the car was unoccupied and was parked hallway over the fog line in the traveled portion of the highway. 

No driver for the parked car could be located, the report states. 

Ryan’s 2017 Toyota RAV-4 sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.

     • 4:17 p.m. -- Police responded to the 300 block of North Cedar Street for a report of a nuisance. Geffrey Williams was arrested in relation to this incident on a warrant.

     • 10:01 a.m. -- Police responded to the 200 block of North Cedar Street for a report of a theft. 

     • 11:40 a.m. -- Police responded to the 400 block of East Second Street for a report of a scam. 

     • 8 p.m. -- Police responded to the 300 block of East Third Street for a report of a suspicious person or vehicle.

• Tyler Matthew Bishop, of Clarence, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while barred. Bishop was fined $855 plus court costs.

• Alisin Marie Scofield, of Martelle, pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree criminal mischief. Scofield was sentenced to seven days in jail and was fined $855 plus court costs. 

• Tyler Mason Kula, of Hopkinton, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while barred. Kula was sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $855.
