• A motorist struck a deer in the roadway July 16. 

A crash report states Geoffrey Stewart Michaels, of Chilton, Wis., was driving north on U.S. 151 at 3:56 a.m. and hit the deer. 

Damage to Michaels’ 2016 GMC SUV was estimated at $5,000. 

• A vehicle collided with a deer July 8. 

A crash report states Isaak Jeremiah Jirik, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was driving un U.S. 151 northbound and hit the animal. 

Damage to Jirik’s Mini was estimated at $1,500.

     8:30 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of animal abuse or neglect in the 100 block of Grant Street. 

     11:06 a.m. -- Police responded to a report of a nuisance in the 300 block of South Linden Street.

     5:43 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious person or vehicle in the 800 block of North Maple Street.

     11:29 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a nuisance in the 500 block of South Chestnut.
