While the Monticello wrestling team was handed a pair of uncharacteristic losses during a home quadrangular meet Jan. 12, Panther coach Ryan Luensman found some silver lining to the team’s performances.
“I thought the boys all wrestled hard and battled in every match,” coach Luensman said. “We had to move some guys around, and some young guys had to step in. I was proud of how everyone accepted this challenge.”
Monticello defeated Bellevue 64-15, lost to Tipton 40-39, and was dealt a 69-9 loss to Wilton.
