‘Up in Smoke LLC’

To the Editor,

   Overtime, watching and visiting our communities, I have been thankful I settled where I did; and three of our five daughters made a decision to plant life here also.

   This is home.

   Someone has legally broken in; no alarms have gone off; no arrests have been made; sidewalks are still swept; doors are still unlocked for waiting customers.

   Walking out the front door, I read the story.

   It is a new business in town. All is legal. Yet there is an alarm if you listen and you don’t need ears.

   The new business is hiding behind a real agenda of destruction.

   All is legal – but not all is at rest.

   The town officials have laid out a welcome mat to a business that spews out garbage that looks like gummies, and we open wide.

   This could be a case of freedoms turning into gallows.
