Olin 4-H Club

     The Olin 4-H Club held its monthly meeting Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016. Club president Jacob Francksen called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. at the Olin Legion. There were 10 members present plus two new members. The 4-H pledge was led by Jacob Francksen.

     We started off the meeting by stating the old business: All members bring your black and/or officer binders to every meeting.

     We then stated the new business: Jones County Fair awards day will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Youth Development Center; all members from last year are encouraged to go. Next, we installed the new officers: president – Jacob Francksen; vice president – Lauren VonBehren; treasurer –Nick Lehrman; secretary – Mikayla VonBehren; reporter – Dawson Hirl; historians – Olin 4-H Club; photographers – Eli Lehrman, Aaron Bixler, Seth Bixler and Drew Uhtoff; Members in charge of the flower pot – Mikayla VonBehren and Lauren VonBehren.

     After the installation of officers, we greeted and introduced new members Drew Uhtoff and Kale Cress. Finally, we adjourned the meeting at 6:18 p.m., by stating the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Aaron Bixler. The next meeting will be Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 at the Olin Legion at 5 p.m.
