Scotch Grove Challengers

     The Nov. 6, 2016 meeting/holiday party of the Scotch Grove Challengers was held at Legacy Lanes in Monticello. Members answered the roll call topic: “Favorite Thanksgiving food.” Annie Schlarmann led the Pledge of Allegiance. Joseph Schrader read the Secretary’s Report. Davin Wickman made a motion to approve the Secretary’s Report. Autry Fasnacht seconded. Matthew Beal read the Treasurer’s Report. Ashlynn Sparks moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Davin Wickman seconded.

     New Business: Upcoming fall FSQA training, 4-H volleyball, and club fundraising were discussed.

     Autry Fasnacht made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by David Wickman. The 4-H pledge was led by Ashlynn Sparks. Members present enjoyed the bowling activity.

Scotch Grove Challengers

     The Dec. 4, 2016 meeting of the Scotch Grove Challengers was held at Monticello Reniassance Center in Monticello. Fifteen members answered the roll call topic: “Your favorite school subject.” Kristen Roher led the Pledge of Allegiance. The club started the meeting by having two activities. Joseph Schrader read the Secretary’s Report. Mathew Beal made a motion to approve the Secretary’s Report. Ty Jesenovec seconded. Matthew Beal read the Treasurer’s Report. Royce Kiburz moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report. Autry Fasnacht  seconded.

     New Business: Leader change on the checking account; Sally Hinrichsen will be replacing Dennis Dirks. Kim McQuillen and Jessica Sparks will also be assisting the club. A motion was made and all approved. A reminder was given to sign up for presentations, otherwise members will be assigned a date. Rohers provided a snack and Tommy Dirks provided the drinks for the meeting.

     Autry Fasnacht made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Joseph Schrader. The Pledge to the 4-H flag and a presentation by Joseph Schrader on hunter safety concluded the meeting.
