Prairie Hill

     The regular meeting of the Prairie Hill 4-H Club was held at the Citizens State Bank Youth Development Center on Aug. 21, 2017.

     The meeting was called to order by Caleb Hogan at 7:05 p.m. The Pledge to the American Flag was led by Lindsey Adams. Roll call was “Favorite ice cream” and was answered by 27 members. Twelve visitors were present.

     Minutes of the previous meeting were read. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Dawson Ricklefs, seconded by Cole Adams. The treasurer’s report was given. Motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Brianna Burmahl, seconded by Cole Adams. Outstanding bills included chicken trophies. Motion to approve the outstanding bills was made by Miranda Rieken, seconded by Adele Hogan.

     Old business: Record books are due.

     New business included officer elections in September, a new service project, a fundraiser, and rules introduced.

     There were no presentations given. Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Leah Koehler, seconded by Cole Adams. The Pledge to the 4-H Flag was led by Savannah Freese.
