Oxford Happy Hustlers

     The regular meeting of the Oxford Happy Hustlers was held on Jan. 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Alexis Payne was host.

     Meeting was called to order by President Nicole Guenther. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Alexis Payne. Roll Call was: “What was the funniest thing you did over Christmas vacation?” Four members and two guests were present. Secretary’s report was given by Lillian Strait. Treasurer’s report was given by Morgan Strait. There was no bills. Committee reports were given on Awards Day by Lillian Strait and Christmas Party by Nicole Guenther.

     Old business: FAQA/YQCA, Code of Ethics and Awards Day were discussed.

     New business: Club trip/tour was discussed, 4-H club program was handed out, and the club went through the packet of upcoming 4-H activities.

     Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Alexis Payne, seconded by Morgan Strait.

     Presentations given were: Nicole Guenther, Iron or Not; Lillian Strait, Woodworking; and Alexis Payne, Child Development.

     The next meeting will be Feb. 4, 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Each member is to bring a homemade valentine. Host will be Lillian Strait. Presentations will be given by Morgan Strait on Laundry Tips, Alexis Payne on Dogs, and Nicole Guenther has your choice. The 4-H pledge was led by Morgan Strait.
