Scotch Grove Challengers
The Feb. 5, 2017 meeting of the Scotch Grove Challengers was held at Monticello Renaissance Center in Monticello. Twenty-two members answered the roll call topic: “Name something red.” Kacie Rickles led the Pledge of Allegiance. Joseph Schrader read the Secretary’s Report. Davin Wickman made a motion to approve the Secretary’s Report. Delainy Fellinger seconded. No Treasurer’s Report was given.
New Business: A reminder to sign up for the project areas for the fair and all livestock species must be identified in 4-H Online. The club distributed Casey’s pizza cards for the fundraiser and discussed offering brat sampler’s for fundraising. Joseph Schrader made a motion to sell the Edgewood Locker brats, Davin Wickman seconded, all approved. More details will be given at the next meeting. Davin Wickman made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Cooper Wickman.
The club ended with a Valentine’s card activity. The Pledge to the 4-H flag was led by Davin Wickman. Haili Schlarmann did her presentation about diving from a block at swim team.
