Oxford Happy Hustlers

     The regular meeting of the Oxford Happy Hustlers was held July 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

     Meeting was called to order by President Nicole Guenther. Roll Call was: “How many 4-H projects do you have done?” All members answered. Four members, two guests and two leaders were present. Secretary reports were given. Treasurer’s report was given. The club has a bill for $50. Making a motion to pay the bill was Lillian Strait, and it was seconded by Alexis Payne. Motion carried. Committee reports were given on cookie plates and flower pot.

     Old business – Food stand Tuesday, 7 p.m. to closing, and Saturday morning, 7 to 10 a.m. Evaluation day is July 16th at 2:15 p.m. Packets and the cake walk were also discussed.

     New Business – Fairgrounds cleanup, working exhibits, table setting challenge, Science of BBQ camp, extemporaneous  speaking, record book, and secretary and treasure books were discussed.

     Motion to adorn the meeting was made by Alexis Payne and seconded by Lillian Strait.

     The next meeting will be Aug. 5 at 1 p.m. Host will be Lillian Strait.

Olin 4-H Club

     The Olin 4H Club held its monthly meeting July 1, 2018. Team building activities were done on goal writing for the fair. Discussion was held on fair projects with advice being given and questions answered. Reminders were given on times we have to check in projects, work time at fair and cleanup. New club t-shirts were handed out. No presentations were given. Check in time for projects at the fair is at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, July 16. Next meeting will be decided after the fair.

Prairie Hill

     The Prairie Hill 4-H Club held its monthly meeting July 2, 2018.

     The meeting was called to order at 6:16 p.m. The Pledge to the American Flag was led by Dawson Ricklefs. Roll call was: “The most important thing you learned in 4-H this year.” A motion to approve the secretary’s report was made by Claire Hogan, seconded by Leah Koehler. Treasurer’s report: Our checking account balance is $2,510.21. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Kendall Siebels, seconded by Lake Schnoor. A motion to approve the bills was made by Dawson Ricklefs, seconded by Lake Schnoor. There was no photographer/reporter report or historian report.

     A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Adele Hogan, seconded by Claire Hogan. The Pledge to the 4-H Flag was led by Connor Adams.

     The next meeting will be Monday, Aug. 20 at 6:15 p.m.
