Olin 4-H Club

     The Olin 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on Dec. 2, 2018. Installation of officers was held for members that weren’t installed at the October meeting.

     Information was given on the Communications Workshop on Dec. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m., Jones County All-Livestock Workshop on Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., New Year’s Eve at noon on Dec. 31, Clothing Outing/Workshop on Jan. 2, beef weigh-ins on Dec. 22 at Kirkwood and Dec. 29 at Cascade.

     It was discussed, voted on and passed to have a holiday potluck at our January meeting with a white elephant gift exchange with up to a $10 limit. It was also discussed to go to Ski Snowstar later in February or early March. This will be voted on at our next meeting. We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping for our adopted HACAP family and homebound Jones County senior citizens for community service.

     No presentations were given. Next meeting is Jan. 6, 2019 at the Olin Legion at 5 p.m.
