Scotch Grove Challengers

   The May meeting of the Scotch Grove Challengers was called to order by President Lilly Stoll. The roll call question was, “What event are you looking forward to the most this summer?” Nine members, five visitors and two leaders were present. Sydney Sparks led the Pledge to the American Flag.

   Aedan Althoff gave the Secretary’s Report. Sydney Sparks made the motion to approve the Secretary’s Report, seconded by Reagan Stoll, motion carried. Paige Rickels gave the Treasurer's Report. Steven Bader made a motion to approve the Treasures Report, seconded by Sydney Sparks, motion carried. The club also had a motion by Paige Rickles to sponsor the Reserve Poultry Best of Show trophy for $25, it was seconded by Sydney Sparks, motion carried.

   The club hosted Cole Burrack, from the Monticello Vet Clinic as a speaker on animal prep for the fair.

   Old Business: The club was reminded to enroll in 4-H. The club was reminded to sign up for the Band app. There were also  awards given for years in 4-H. The club discussed the upcoming farm tour on June 11. The club was given a t-shirt pricing update. The club also discussed auction changes at the fair this year.

   New Business: The club discussed the May 15 deadline for fair registration on 4honline. Upcoming camps and trips were discussed. The club discussed photos for the fair booth. The club also discussed forming a planning committee for the fair booth. The committee will be: Kinzi Schlarmann, Lilly Stoll, Reagan Stoll, Sydney Sparks, Haili Schlarmann and Nick Schlarmann.    The club had presentations from Sydney Sparks and Katie Roher. Sydney Sparks made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Reagan Stoll. The Pledge to the 4-H Flag was led by Jorja Jacobs. The meeting ended at 6:40 p.m.
