Olin 4-H Club

The Olin 4H Club held their monthly meeting on April 7, 2019.

Reports were read. Lisa Flockhart gave a presentation on how to make a Little Free Library. Our club will be doing this for our community service project. Discussion was held on this. Donations were collected for the Ronald McDonald Family House, and we will find a date to deliver these to them. Sign up was done to work the Olin Fireman’s Breakfast, which is April 14. We will also be having a bake sale at this and the money collected will be put towards making the Little Free Library. Our fundraiser will be a Taco/Potato Bar on May 11 serving from 4:30 to 7:30. Tickets will be $8. Members were given tickets to sell ahead of time. Reminders were given on upcoming workshops and camps. Project enrollment deadline is May 15. It was voted on and passed to have the club pay for the 2019 Season Exhibitor Pass for the fair for the members that met their ticket sales goal for our fundraiser. Information was given on making a pallet garden for the fair this year.

A presentation was given by Ethan Zoller on copper plating. Our next meeting will be May 5 at 5 p.m. at the Olin Legion.
