Olin 4-H Club

     The Olin 4-H Club held its monthly meeting on May 5, 2019.

     Reports were read. Deadlines were given for various events. We voted on a club barn quilt design and Mikayla VonBehren will draw design and get it submitted. A recap of our bake sale was discussed. It was voted on and passed that our club pay for member’s shirts. Discussion was held on our club garden and pick up dates for supplies. Discussion was held on our taco/baked potato bar dinner which will be held on May 11 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Olin Legion. Tickets will be $8. A silent auction will also be taking place. Fair booth pictures were taken.

     Congratulations was given to Adam Hirl on his presentation for the Communication event and it getting chosen to go to the Iowa State Fair. Presentations were given by Kaiden and Kylee Cress on their green anole lizard. Next meeting will be June 2 at 5 p.m. at the Olin Legion.
