Scotch Grove Challengers

     The meeting of the Scotch Grove Challengers was held at the Monticello Renaissance Center in Monticello on July 7, 2019.

     President Kristen Roher called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Twenty-one members answered the roll call topic, “Name one of your 4-H exhibits /projects.”  Eight guests were present. Davin Wickman led the Pledge of Allegiance. Kacie Rickels provided the Treasurer’s Report. Aedan Althoff made the motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report and Tyler Soppe seconded. Motion carried.

     New business:  Sign-up for fair setup, cleanup and concession stands were discussed. Members were reminded of the 4-H dress code, animal unloading and Vet inspections.

     Alyssa Wickman volunteered to do the club table setting challenge.                 

     Members were reminded the Chore Challenge will be held during the fair on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Equine building.

     FAST project forms and cards were handed out and reviewed.

     Members were reminded that record books are due to Leaders prior to Sept. 1.

     Royce Kiburz made the motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Lilly Stoll. Motion carried. Aedan Althoff lead the pledge to the 4-H flag.

     Davin Wickman did a presentation on how to throw a shot put. Kacie Rickels did a presentation on traveling tips.
