Olin 4-H Club

     The Olin 4H Club held its monthly meeting on Dec. 1, 2019. We met at 2 p.m. and went to Cedar Rapids to shop for our adopted families for Christmas. Our meeting was then held and called to order at 5:20 p.m. by Dawson Hirl, President.

     Pledge of Allegiance was led by Drew Uthoff. Roll call was “Your favorite present.” Secretary and Treasurer’s reports were given. In old business, awards were handed out from the awards banquet. Reminders for the bake sale at Calkins Barn on Dec. 8th. Reminders on Beef Weigh-In on Dec. 21 or Dec. 28.

     In new business, information was given for the New Year’s Eve party being held at noon, leader’s training on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m., and camp gifts for the holidays. Club programs were handed out. The 4H pledge was led by Mikayla VonBehren. Presentations were given by Dawson Hirl and Adam Hirl.

     Next meeting will be Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. at the Olin Legion, which will be our holiday/pizza party with gift exchange.
