Advancement Services re-opens for can redemption

     Advancement Services of Jones County opened their doors for redemption services on July 6. Their new hours will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

     They will be implementing a five-bag per day limit, and 100 glasses per day until further notice.

     Have your plastic, aluminum, and glass sorted and counted. If not, you can use their bulk system/bag estimate. It is your responsibility to count your containers; Advancement Services will not count them for you.

     They will not accept containers in black bags. All containers should also be free of fluids, clean, and not smashed. They must have an Iowa 5-cent deposit.

     “We really appreciate your patience and loyalty,” stated Advancement Services. “Our priority continues to be keeping our employees safe and healthy so please practice social distancing. We will do our best to get you in and out quickly.”
