AFDG team competes in nationals

   The Almost Famous Dance and Gymnastics competition gym team had five gymnasts head to Lakeland, Fla. last week to compete at the USTA Nationals.

   Results are as follows:

   Advanced Beginner: Joslynn Kray, third in flight, sixth overall. Madelyn Capella, 10^th in flight.

   Sub-Beginner: Audrey Geraghty fourth in flight, eighth overall.

   Beginner: Victoria Capalla third in flight, 11^th overall.

   Intermediate: Emma Brockhohn fifth in flight, 17^th overall.

   “We are so proud of all our athletes that were able to attend,” said Andrea Rundle, who co-coaches the competition gym team with Paige Kremer. “It was amazing to see all of their hard work pay off, and a great way to end our competition season.”

   AFDG is under the direction of Amanda Hackney and Melissa Ehrisman, with the assistance of Rundle and Kremer.
