All-TRC baseball team named

     Four Midland players, and three from Maquoketa Valley, were among those selected to the Tri-Rivers all-conference baseball team for the 2017 season.

     The players are chosen by conference coaches. The area honored players are listed below.

MIDLAND

     First team: Austin Smith, junior infielder; Fisher Bisinger, junior utility.

     Second team: Connor Harms, senior infielder.

     Honorable mention: Landon Hunter, senior.

MAQUOKETA VALLEY

     First team: Tyson Tucker, junior pitcher.

     Second team: Zak Harbach, senior outfielder.

     Honorable mention: Clint Krapfl, senior.
