Almost Famous sends 13 to nationals

DANCE, GYMNASTICS

     The Almost Famous Competition Gymnastics team competed at the U.S. Tumbling Association State Meet Sunday, April 28 in Ames, and came away with 14 national qualifiers.

     The USTA Nationals are scheduled for June in West Virginia.

     Almost Famous is under the direction of Amanda Hackney and Melissa Ehrisman, with the assistance of Andrea Davis and Kaitlyn Hunt.

     Results follow.

 

USTA STATE MEET

     Abbey Kramer* first in flight, first overall.

     Whitney Long* second in flight, second overall.

     Cameron Vargason* second in flight, second overall.

     Kylie Meeks* second in flight, third overall.

     Emma Brockhohn* second in flight, sixth overall.

     Kennedy Ward* fourth in flight, sixth overall.

     Brooklynn Meyer* second in flight, eighth overall.

     Morgan Ward* fourth in flight, eighth overall.

     Isla Stoneking* fifth in flight, 10th overall.

     Emerlynn Wright* sixth in flight, 13th overall.

     Alaina Mead* sixth inflight, 13th overall.

     Reece Reitzler* fifth in flight, 15th overall.

     Emma Kramer* sixth in flight, 15th overall.

     Tessa Intorf seventh in flight.
