And McKean does not follow ‘doctrine or special interest pressure’

To the Editor,

   We are writing to encourage you to vote for Andy McKean as State Representative.

   Andy will be very responsive to all constituents' input. He will promptly and diplomatically respond to letters, emails and phone calls. We need this type of representation to ensure that all of our perspectives are able to be considered. Andy will be a legislator who will respond to our communications with him. Further, Andy will actively seek input prior to making decisions.

   Education has been part of our entire careers. Andy will clearly emphasize education to ensure the professional perspective and community perspective are included in curriculum decisions. Andy will emphasize restoring the AEA services to ensure every child and family receive the full benefit of available educational resources. The specialized services from the AEA will assure that each student has the materials and teaching to ensure they can achieve their potential.

   Andy will strive for ways to restore water and soil quality in Iowa to ensure that future generations are able to experience clean water and food which is safe. He will diligently work with farmers to enhance productivity and encourage practices that improve water and soil quality.

   Finally, Andy is an independent person who does not follow party doctrine or special interest pressure. He will respond to constituents and make informed decisions which will contribute to the betterment of our rural lifestyle now and in the future.

   We encourage you to cast your vote for Andy McKean.
