Librarian Penny Schmit assists Porter Campbell in filling his cup with gardening dirt. Following Olson’s program, the kids went outside to plant wildflowers.
Olson’s program at the library was all about backyard animals. She brought along a toad, box turtle, and garter snake for kids to see. Here, she introduces the crowd to a toad that’s housed at the Nature Center at Central Park.
