Banquet pins down end of Panthers' season

BOWLING

Monticello High School’s second-ever bowling season was celebrated during an awards banquet for both the boys’ and girls’ teams May 14 at Legacy Lanes.

Head coach Brian Meyer recalled the Panthers’ season, which included records of 7-9-2 for the boys and 1-14 for the girls.

“Part of the reason our records were what they were is because we bowled some really good teams,” Meyer said. “But I thought we showed some growth.”
