To be continued: Boots in the Barn

A continuation of the Boots in the Barn program is being offered to dairy and beef women producers, meeting again on Nov. 19 at the Commercial Club Park Community room in Dyersville from 1 to 3 p.m.

This session will focus on farm family communication with Dr. Larry Tranel, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach dairy specialist and psychologist. The afternoon will include learning more about your own personality as well as others; how it relates to working with both family and non-family members on dairy and beef operations.

For more information on this Boots in the Barn program, contact dairy specialist Jennifer Bentley, beef specialist Denise Schwab or the county Extension offices in Clayton, Delaware, or Dubuque counties.  Registration can also be taken on-line at: https://www.extension.iastate.edu/delaware/content/boots-barn-november-19th.

There is no fee for this program and is sponsored by Professional Dairy Producers educational grant, www.dairyfoundation.org.
