Biden-Harris Administration caused inflation

To the Editor,

   Greta Van Susteran, a journalist with a reputation for painstaking accuracy, recently provided a chart showing inflation since the start of the Biden-Harris Administration:

   Gas +50.5%, Electricity +31.7%, Fuel Oil +49.1%, Airfare +22.6%, Hotels, +51.2%, Groceries +21.6%, Eating Out +23%

   Inflation has eased. This doesn’t mean prices are reducing. They are going up at a lesser rate. It’s like your boss saying, “Good news! Last year I cut your wages by 10 percent. This year I am cutting your wages by only 5 percent!”

   What causes inflation? It isn’t price gouging. Scott Jennings of CNN concluded: “There is no price gouging. Grocery stores, these things, they operate on very slim profit margins. There is no gouging, there is just inflation…If you like bread lines, product shortages, black markets, hoarding, if you want to recreate the happy economic conditions of ‘The Walking Dead,’ Kamala Harris has a plan for you…it’s a plan from a ticket that has no private sector experience…and no interest whatsoever and taking responsibility for everything they have done to plunge the working class of the United States of America [into] an economic crisis.”

   Inflation is a function of supply and demand. When the Biden-Harris Administration supported the Infrastructure Bill and the laughably named Inflation Reduction Act and similar spending, they increased the demand for goods and services. This yielded higher prices.

   When the Biden-Harris Administration destroyed our borders and encouraged a surge of “asylum seekers,” millions from around the world illegally entered our country. This increased population also increased the demand for goods and services, including massive spending by state governments for illegal aliens. The natural result is increased prices for those goods and services, i.e., inflation.

   The increased supply of cheap labor for unskilled jobs, provided by immigration, resulted in one area of deflation, i.e. the price of wages for unskilled jobs. So, not only has there been a decline in real wages, adjusted for inflation, for the population in general, but the poorest among us can expect an even great impact due to immigration. By the way, do you believe the demand for unskilled labor will decrease or increase? If it decreases, wages for the poor will be cut even further.

   So in addition to the rapes and sex trafficking of alien women and children, and the rapes and murders of American women, Biden-Harris immigration policy also causes economic problems. What a deal!

   Kamala Harris, who lied to you when she told you the border is “secure,” is also lying when she pretends she will cure inflation. She claims that she was the last person in the room when President Biden was seeking advice on issues. That would include all the steps the Biden-Harris Administration used to cause inflation. She caused inflation.

   This November, your only choice to rescue our country from inflation and other disasters wrought by the Biden-Harris Administration is to vote Republican!
