Birth announcement

      Micaela and Cale Loewen of Cedar Rapids announce the birth of their son, Knox LaVerne Loewen, born April 28, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

      He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 20 1/2 in. long.

      His grandparents are Doug and Judi Kelley of Marion and Dan and Wanda Loewen of Bernard.

      His great-grandparents are Mary Jane (and the late LaVerne) Crowley of Marion, Joanne Johnston of Marion, AnnaMae Loewen of Dubuque and Eldon and Joan Schmitt of Peosta.
