Blue Ribbon, 4-H scholarships offered

     Jones County 4-H and/or FFA members and high school seniors planning to continue your post-secondary education, you may qualify for this scholarship opportunity. The Jones County 4-H and the Jones County 4-H Blue Ribbon Fund have again combined efforts to support scholarships for graduating high school seniors that are 4-H and/or FFA members. Thanks to the generosity of the Varlyn and Jane Fink family, the 4-H Leadership and Community Service Scholarship is offered for the third year.

   This information is available on our county website, www.extension.iastate.edu/jones. All components of the application, including the letters of reference, are due to the Jones County Extension and Outreach office by Feb. 20. The selection of the winners will be based on the written application, supplemental materials and a personal interview.
