Camp Courageous awarded DRA grant

     Camp Courageous has been awarded a 2018 grant from the Dubuque Racing Association in the amount of $15,000. This grant will be applied toward the installation of a new roof and solar panels on the Camp Courageous Multipurpose building. The DRA grant committee members recognized the importance of this project to make Camp Courageous more sustainable through the use of solar energy.

     Last year the DRA provided a grant for the Camp Courageous Waste Water Treatment Project, and previously have funded projects including the Camp Courageous Bowling Alley, the indoor playground, a walk-in freezer and cooler, the lake Todd Bridge, among many others. DRA has been good friends of Camp for many years.
