Camp Courageous receives DRA grant

     Camp Courageous has been awarded a 2021 grant from the Dubuque Racing Association in the amount of $25,000.

     This grant will be applied toward phase one of the Camp Courageous Multi-Purpose Field. The DRA grant committee members recognized the importance of this project and its importance in keeping the campers safely challenged and excited about the possibility of coming to Camp Courageous.

     Last year, the DRA provided a grant toward the installation of Camp’s new zipline. The DRA has been good friends of Camp for many years, providing funding toward projects including the waste-water treatment project, the Camp bowling alley, and indoor playground, a walk-in freezer and cooler, the Lake Todd Bridge, among many others.
