Capron wins at Cascade Invite

CROSS COUNTRY

     Ava Capron ran a time of 13 minutes, 28 seconds over two miles to win the individual girls’ middle school championship at the Cascade Invitational Cross Country Meet, held Sept. 19 at Anamosa Middle School.

     Capron led Monticello to a second place team finish, with 41 points, behind West Delaware, which had 29. Maquoketa was third with 48.
