Caroline Ann Burrack

Caroline Ann Burrack, 77, of Belleville, Ill., born April 27, 1943 in Monticello, Iowa, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 in St. Louis, Mo.

Caroline grew up contributing to her family's business from an early age, selling appliances and TVs and building strong customer relationships throughout Jones County.  She had a gift for merchandising, a strong work ethic, and a desire to serve others.  After starting a family, she was an active volunteer helping in her children's classrooms, coordinating school fundraisers, and supporting parent-teacher organizations.  Caroline enjoyed homemaking, gardening, and traveling, especially camping and RVing with her husband.  She had an eye for interior design and attention to detail and often carried her camera with her to capture moments to share.  She will be remembered as a wonderful cook and party planner who appreciated every opportunity to celebrate with family and friends.  Caroline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1947 and active with P.S.O.P., at the Senior Citizen Center in Belleville.  She was a loving wife, mother, and sister, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Marion, nee Boss, Monk.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of almost 50 years, Robert J. “Bob” Burrack of Belleville, Ill., her children, Kenda (Ben) Puchalski of Wentzville, Mo. and Kameron Burrack of Walland, Tenn.; her sister, Onalee (Mike) Marx; a brother, Randy Monk; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
