Chamber brings back ‘Uptown Summer Nites’

     The Monticello Chamber of Commerce’s “Uptown Summer Nites Music Series in the Pocket Park” returns this week!

     The first to kick off the summer season is CrossCut on Thursday, June 17, from 5 to 8 p.m.

     Uptown Summer Nites are free and open to the public. Be sure to being a lawn chair, sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening.

     In addition to live music, there will also be food, ice cream, beverages, beer, and wine available for purchase.

     The June 17 event is sponsored by Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and McDonough Real Estate.

     There will be two other Uptown Summer Nite events, so mark your calendar: Thursday, July 15, and Thursday, Aug. 19.

     July 15 will feature Ron LaFleur and The Boy Scout Hippies, and is sponsored by ORBIS Corporation and Be Strong Fitness & Yoga.

     Aug. 19 will feature Acoustic Jack, and is sponsored by HCH Real Estate and Rick Meyer State Farm Insurance.
