Thou Art Gallery hosted a theater and stage set camp June 14 through 18. The camp was an intense four and a half hour per day camp with a performance on Saturday, June 19 at Picket Park in Anamosa.

Angus and Katie (Chapman) Farrowe wrote the play, “The Day the Unicorns Saved the Fairytales.” It was directed by Katie Farrowe. Stage set design was directed by KC Kiner Wortman.

Each student played a part in the play. Students memorized their lines, learned acting and stage presence, designed and painted their stage sets, and learned the importance of working together.

Another camp is scheduled for July 12 through 16, with a performance on July 17 at Picket Park. For more information, please contact Farrowe at 310-883-5072 or Wortman at 319-821-1424.
