I spent the weekend chasing deer, without any luck, so this week will be a pretty simple fantasy football update.

The NFL did settle down a little bit this week, COVID-wise. The only player missing from my roster was my main quarterback, Lamar Jackson, still out with COVID. So, I stuck with Saints QB, Taysom Hill and he had a nice day in his role as backup to Drew Brees. Hill was my leading scorer with 23 points.

Teamwise I am leading this week, 106-80, but I am down to one player and my opponent still has three players left. I won’t know until Tuesday evening if I won or not with the schedule once again stretched out for the week.

Defensively I am still trying to right that ship. I picked up the Tennessee Titans’ defense and all they did was give up 41 points to the Browns and cost me minus-2 points. Yes, you can go backward in fantasy football, when it comes to defenses especially.

I did end up in first place last week, not second, due to points scored but not by much. Four points separated my team from second place. If I do win this week it looks like I’ll still be tied for first with two other teams but the guy behind me should pass me in points. That’s all I got for this week. Have a safe week everyone!
