Common sense does not prevail

Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

     Supervisor Zirkelbach cuts down the Hula Hoop Tree. The City of Pella destroys tulips so that tourists will stop driving through Pella. Schools are closed. Mr. Bohlken (from Indianola) and the editorial staff of the Cedar Rapids Gazette think we citizens should wear a mask 24/7!

     Our lives are being dictated by fear of a lawsuit. Common sense is no longer common!!

     I hope we have a Great Jones County Fair this July 2020!
