     • 6 p.m. – Jones County Republicans meet at McOttos in Anamosa.  Dinner at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 p.m. All registered Republicans may attend.

Saturday, Oct. 6 –

     • 8-11 a.m. – Monticello Farmer’s Market.  Willow Shelter (located behind Pizza Ranch).

Sunday, Oct. 7 –

     • 1-5 p.m. – Monticello Heritage and Cultural Center, 211 N. Sycamore St.

Monday, Oct. 8  –

     • 8:30 to 9 a.m. – Sit & Get Fit by Above & Beyond. Berndes Center. Free & open to the public.

• 12:05 p.m. – Rotary Club meeting, Pizza Ranch.

     • 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Caregiver's Support Group, Pinicon Place, formerly Silvercrest, 1615 Breca Ridge Dr., Anamosa.

     • 6:30 p.m. – Monticello Volunteer Ambulance (EMS) meeting, ambulance building.

     • 7 p.m. – VFW meeting at Veterans Hall.  

Tuesday, Oct. 9 –

     • 3:15 p.m. – Monticello Cemetery Board meeting, Monticello Community Building.

     • 5:30 p.m. – Monticello Public Library Board meeting, City Council chambers.

     • 6:30 p.m. – Royal Neighbors of America meeting at United Church of Monticello.

     • 6-8 p.m. – Monticello Heritage and Cultural Center, 211 N. Sycamore St.

     • 7 p.m. – Monticello Eagles Aerie No. 4466 meeting, 102 Lindner Ct.

     • 8 p.m. – The Great Jones County Fair Board meeting, Fair Office, Monticello.

Wednesday, Oct. 10 –

     • 9 a.m. – Jones County Mom’s Group, Wayne Zion Church, 15531 Co. Rd. E-17, Monticello. Children welcome.

     • 11:30 a.m. – Jones County Safe & Healthy Youth Coalition Meeting.  203 E. Main St., Anamosa.

     • 6 p.m. – Monticello School Board work session, administrative building.
