Conservation seeks public input for Central Park Master Plan

Jones County Conservation is in the process of completing a Central Park Master Plan to determine the direction of future park improvements.

Planning now will assist in guiding development decisions within the park five, 10, 20, and 30-plus years from now. Possible future improvements could include campground upgrades and new development; playground, shelter, road, trail, and maintenance facility upgrades; Nature Center expansion; and modern cabin construction.

To ensure this plan meets the public’s wants and needs, Conservation requests your input. Please consider completing the Master Plan Public Survey at or follow the QR code within the article.

If you have any questions about the survey, contact Conservation at 563-487-3541 ext. 2.
