County food bank returns to normal hours

The Jones Community Food Bank will return to normal hours. 

The food bank, located at 105 Broadway Place in Anamosa, is now open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

The bank had been on an abbreviated schedule while its director, Julie Finn, was on medical leave. 

Appointments to obtain food must be made in advance by calling (319)-462-4343.

Donations to the Jones County Community Food Bank can be made by dropping off food and personal care products during the new hours of operations or by dropping off or mailing a check to Jones County Community Food Bank, 105 Broadway Place, Anamosa, IA 52205.
