Couple announce engagement

   Amanda Moenk of Sumner and Al Strain of Sumner, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

   Amada is the daughter of Garret and Donna Moenk of Monticello. She graduated from Anamosa High School in 2007
and Wartburg College, Waverly in 2011 with a B.A. in Communication Arts- emphasis in print media and
public relations, minor in women's studies. She is employed at Vanguard Publishing Co., Sumner.

   Al is the son of Denise Strain of St. Charles, Minn. He graduated from St. Charles High School, St. Charles,
Minn. In 2008
and Wartburg College, Waverly in 2012 with a B.A. in Communication Arts emphasis in print media, minor in history. He is employed at VGM Forbin, Waterloo.

   A July 30 wedding is planned at The Barn at Brophy Creek in DeWitt.
