Court Proceedings

     • Craig Allen Tuetken, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to a charge of maximum group axle weight violation and was fined a total of $155, a criminal surcharge of 15% and court costs.

     • Gregory Alan Buol, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to a charge of no valid driver’s license and was fined $260 plus court costs.

     • Jordan Allen Smith, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while barred and was sentenced to a three-day jail sentence and given credit for three days served. Smith was fined $855 plus court costs.

     • Levi Allen Miller, of Anamosa, was found by the court to have violated a no-contact order and sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.

     • William David Albanus, of Atlanta, Ga., was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse assault June 22. A preliminary hearing was set for July 2. Court documents state Albanus pressed his hands onto the neck of the victim, causing redness.

     • Tracy Lynn Jenks, of Anamosa, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree theft and was fined $105 plus court costs.

     • Samajay Q. Nelson, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree theft and was fined $105 plus court costs and ordered to pay $24.99 plus tax in restitution.

     • Bailey Ann Gienapp, of Marion, was arrested on a charge of fifth degree theft June 19. Court documents state Gienapp took a t-shirt valued at $10 from a Monticello store without paying for it.

     • Austin James Lenger, of Springville, pleaded guilty to OWI first offense and was sentenced to a 90-day jail sentence with all but 10 days suspended. Lenger was also fined $1,250.

     • Michael Gray Bohlken, of Monticello, was arrested on a charge of OWI third or subsequent offense June 19. An arraignment is scheduled at 9 a.m. July 21.

     • Michael Jay Nelson, of Anamosa, was arrested on a charge of OWI first offense June 20.
