Court Proceedings
• Nancy Marie Bernardi, of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree theft. She was placed on supervised probation for two years and received a $1,025 fine, which was suspended.
• Evan Robert Corum, of Springville, pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree harassment and was fined $105 plus court costs.
• Bailey Ann Gienapp, of Monticello, pleaded guilty to a charge of fifth-degree theft and was fined $105 plus court costs.
• Stephanie Michelle Kelker Voss, of Appleton, Wis., was arrested at 5:07 p.m. Aug. 11 on charges of eluding and OWI first offense. Court documents state a Jones County Depiuy responded to U.S. 151 near mile marker 70 for a report of a semi truck driving erratically. The deputy located the truck and attempted to pull the truck over near the intersection with 170th Street. The truck did not pull over and continued to drive for approximately four miles with the deputy following with lights and sirens activated, documents state. Eventually it pulled over near Circle Drive in Anamosa and the deputy noted the smell of alcohol coming from the Kelker Voss, who was identified as the driver, documents state. The deputy also noted she showed signs of intoxication and found an open container of alcohol in the cab, documents state.
