Dirks Memorial Scholarship accepting applications

   2024 is here and graduation will soon be upon us.  The Keith Dirks Memorial Scholarship is given to graduating Jones County seniors who are  pursuing  further education in STEM  programs. To Friends of Jones County Conservation and Nature Center, the "T"  stands for Technical and that includes Trades. This is a one-time $500 scholarship and is given to several students.

   Keith was a Jones County Supervisor and was very active in conservation. He was one of the drivers behind Central Park getting a Nature Center. We are certain he would approve of this!
