District Court

     Alyssa Jacquline Strong, Monticello, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $200 plus court costs.

     Neil Paul Davis, Anamosa, was charged with assault with intent to inflict serious injury. A preliminary hearing is set for March 7.

     Chad Daniel Cozart, Cedar Rapids, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while license barred. An arraignment is set for March 11.

     Matthew John Peterson, Anamosa, was charged with possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for March 11.

     Logan Eric Egge, Olin, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft. A jury trial is set for April 16.

     Destiney Lee Ann Farnstrom, Oxford, was charged with 3rd degree burglary. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 25.

     Heather Joanne Calhoon, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to possession of contraband in correctional institution. A jury trial is set for May 14.

     John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana. A preliminary hearing is set for March 7.

     Dianne Marie Dye, Central City, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of 5th degree theft. She was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Mark Lawrence Oeltjen, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to trespassing 1st offense. He was fined $200 plus court costs.

     Alexis Renee Heeren, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Cameron Dayne Dolter, Dubuque, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for March 8.

     Joshua Paul Cummings, Marion, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for April 16.

     Jacob Evans Heideman, Anamosa, was charged with assault on persons in certain occupations. A preliminary hearing is set for March 7.

     Bo Griffey Barber, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense and driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for May 7.

     Kevin Paul Kilburg, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 14.

     James Mitchell McLaughlin, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 14.

     Benjamin David Williams, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for May 14.

     Daniel George Moats, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 14.

     Elijah Josiah Dowell, Monticello, was charged with OWI 3rd offense and driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for March 7.
