District Court

 

 Donnell DeShaun Hill, Davenport, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of interference with official acts resulting in injury. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Hill was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs, and victim restitution in the amount of $65.98. 

Brad Allen Levsen, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. 

Corey Robert Fullerton, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense, possession of THC oil and THC wax 1st offense, and three counts of child endangerment. A jury trial is set for Jan. 14. 

Grover J. Quinn, Oxford Junction, was charged with assault with intent to inflict serious injury. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 30. 

Joshua Patrick Cudahy, 

Scotch Grove, pleaded not guilty to carrying weapons. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. He pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Cudahy was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. 

Dillon Lee Graf, Monticello, was charged with four counts of unauthorized use of credit card. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 21. Graf was also charged with possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense. An arraignment is set for Nov. 4. 

Charles James Ellison, Monticello, was charged with driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 30. 

Glenn Irving Graver, Anamosa, was arrested fro tampering with witnesses/ juror. No court date was set. 

Angel Eduardo Nunez, Cascade, was arrested for driving while barred and OWI 1st offense. No court date was set. 

Thomas James Berk, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of assault on corrections officer. He was sentenced to two years in jail, and fined $630 plus court costs. All but 20 days were suspended, and Berk was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. 

Tami Lynn Duffy, Cascade, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree burglary. No trial date was set. 

Jared Allen James Reed, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. He had a charge with drug distribution violation to person under 18, dismissed. 

Anthony Robert Ginther, Coggon, pleaded not guilty to sex offender-registration violation 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. 

Christopher Warren Riches, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $750 plus court costs. The fine and sentence were suspended, and Riches was ordered to serve 30 days in the Jones County Jail. He was also placed on supervised probation for three years. 

Darren Scott Naber, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to driving while license barred and possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. 

Joshua Paul Yeisley, Springville, was charged with controlled substance violation (marijuana) and three counts of child endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 30. 

John Dales Spores, Jr., Olin, was charged with possession of contraband in correctional institution (controlled substance). A preliminary earing is set for Oct. 23. 

Nathan Alan Thomson, Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of assault causing bodily injury. He was fined $1,000 plus court costs. 

John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree criminal mischief and driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. 

Gregory Edward McQuillen, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was fined $1,250 plus court costs. 

Madison Elizabeth Mitchell, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. She was fined $1,250 plus court costs. 

Allison Randi DeMoss, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs. 

Veronica Irene Zankowski, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense and possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 28. 

Derik John Thomas, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 3rd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 23.
