John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of possession of marijuana, 4th degree criminal mischief, and driving while barred. He was sentenced to two days in jail. He was fined a total of $1,255 plus court costs, with $625 suspended. Jacobson was ordered to pay victim restitution totaling $219.41. He also pleaded guilty to 3rd degree burglary. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on probation for three years. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $750 plus court costs. The civil penalty was suspended. Jacobson was ordered to pay victim restitution in the amount of $586.53. 

Cortnee Sue Hall, Anamosa, was arrested for assault with intent to inflict serious injury. No court date was set. 

Jamie Sue Steele, Camanche, was charged with possession of burglar’s tools. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 8. 

Heather Joanne Calhoon, Monticello, was found guilty of two counts of contempt of court. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Calhoon also pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 2nd offense. She was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $625 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on probation for two years. 

Matthew Neil VonBehren, Wyoming, was found to be in contempt of court. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. 

Kaleb James Welk, Davenport, pleaded guilty to intent to deliver cocaine. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on probation for three years. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,000 plus court costs. 

Debra Ann Tuecke, Cedar Rapids, was found guilty of contempt of court. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail. 

Miles Davis Simpson, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of 3rd degree theft. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with all but 10 days suspended. He was fined $625 plus court costs, and placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Simpson was also ordered to pay victim restitution in the amount of $2,604.71. 

Darren Scott Naber, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to six days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. 

Donnie Eric Morrison, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of contraband (marijuana) in correctional institution. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 2. 

Jacob Evans Heideman, Anamosa, was charged with domestic abuse assault-impeding flow of air/blood causing injury. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 3. 

Christopher Owen Brissett, Maquoketa, was charged with 2nd degree theft-motor vehicle. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 2. 

Jessica Dawn Armstrong, Des Moines, was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drug and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 30. 

David O’Leary Lochner, Dubuque, was cited for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A court date is set for Jan. 8. 

Omar Sharrif Muhammad, Jr., Iowa City, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 13. 

Samantha Jean Lewis, Cedar Rapids, was cited for possession of Adderall 1st offense. A court date is set for Jan. 8. 

Steven Franklin Laningham, Scotch Grove, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for March 24. 

Rypollete Santos Vargas, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for March 31. 

Brian Frederick Haynes, Dubuque, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for March 31. 

Ismail Bin Abdul Sidik, Milwaukee, Wis., was arrested for OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.
