District Court

     Grover Jay Quinn, Jr., Oxford Junction, was charged with domestic abuse assault-intent to inflict serious injury and driving while barred. An arraignment is set for June 1.

     Joshua Cain Brewer, Anamosa, was charged with assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. An arraignment is set for May 4.

     Brett Joseph Moravek, Marion, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs. All but two days were suspended, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Moravek had a charge of possession of marijuana 1^st offense, dismissed.

     Hunter Keith Andersen, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 2^nd offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 25.

     David Mitchell Secrist, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 2^nd offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 25.

     Jason Thomas Hoerner, Dubuque, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for July 7.
